Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see the original balance fully removed from the window, including the end attachments, pulley clip, and any numbers etched on the metal channel, to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

A quick learner from Columbia, MD says:
Per my discussion with the customer service provider, I have attached the picture of the block and tackle balance I am looking to purchase.

The window is a single hung window. The detailed information is as follows.

A) 1 set of window block and tackle needed for-

Block and tackle balance channel length is 30 inches and the window sash weight is 32lbs ( attachments 1 and 2 for balance pic - front and back).

B) 2nd set of window block and tackle needed for -

Block and tackle balance channel length 36inches and window sash weight is 44lbs ( attachments 3, and 4 back and front ).

Qty needed for A - 12 total block and tackle ( assuming single item is sold per order not a set).

Qty needed for B - 2 total block and tackle ( assuming single item is sold per order not a set)

Also please verify the plastic housing for the window sash hook that will attach to the block and tackle channel is included with these orders( the item in question is in the attachments - gray to gold color).

Thanks for your time and help.

Thanks for getting back to us. Take a look and compare the specifications of the S795-30 (30E) balance, which comes with the 1-1/4" wide 15-195 t-lock shoe and a screw tab at the end of the pulley cord for installation, to your assembly.

As for your longer balance, the 36D stamp that you mentioned in your original post indicates that you would need the S795-36 with a 36D option to support a sash between 27-32 lbs. If your sash weighs exactly 44 Ibs, we should still be able to help but those balances would need to be custom ordered. To move forward, please confirm that 44 Ibs. is your exact sash weight and show us a detailed photo of the clip at the end of your pulley cord to confirm the correct replacement.

A quick learner from Columbia, MD says:
Per your request

1) I confirm the weight of the sash is 44lbs

2) I have attached photo of the clip at the end of the pulley cord

3) in addition the etching on the channel list - 36H. Also in the attached picture

Thank you for ur help!

Great, we just sent over an order link and price quote for the balances you've requested. Please note that they will have 36i stamped on them instead of 36H, which is the strength option needed to support a sash between 43-45 Ibs. Take a look and let us know if you need anything else. Thank you!
