spring loaded clip spring that lifts the window and plastic guide

Handy Person
There are no part numbers on any of the parts I have. The parts are the springs that lift and lower the window. The spring loaded clip that allows the double hung window windows to flip out from the window frame. And a bottom guide that the bottom of the window sides up and down upon, and allows the window to pivot outward

Thanks.....

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. It looks like you have a spiral balance for a tilt window. The 3/8" Series 900 or 5/8" Series 600 are our recommendations depending on the diameter of the metal tube. We don't have a 1:1 match for the pivot shoe though. Can you write out the thickness and width? That will help us narrow down some options.

Unfortunately, we don't sell a replacement for the tilt latch. If this is an internal latch, you might want to see if you could convert to a surface mount latch depending on the space you have. Take a look at the video below that will guide you through every step of this process. You'll then need to find a tilt latch that will fit the space available; we have detailed dimensions in each case that you can use as a reference.

Emily, Thanks for responding. It looks like I would need the series 600 24" spiral Balances (Black). For the window clips, do I measure the width of the window to determine what window clips I would be purchasing? The pivot shoes, photos attached with the measurements you requested. How do I install the pivot shoes? I had to break that pivot shoes to remove it from the window frame. On these window frames there is no slot as to where the new window show would be installed. Do I cut a slot in the vinyl that would allow the shoe to slide into the track?

Thanks.

Yes, the key dimensions when choosing new surface-mounted latches would be the width of the sash frame to ensure that the replacements do not hang over the edge. You'll also need to ensure that the new installation holes do not interfere with any holes or cutouts in the frame.

As for the pivot shoes, we can't make out exact dimensions from photos but take a look at the15-046, which is commonly used with the S600 spiral balances. You'll need to determine if the width and thickness match our measurements as shown below. We'll also include the cutout method for replacing these shoes.
