Tilt Latch & Block and Tackle Balances

Home Owner from Gainesville, Florida

Can you help me locate the window parts listed below? A right side tilt latch for an Atrium 2500 series single hung aluminum window that measures 36 x 37. The measurements for the tilt latch are:

A) Tilt Latch 1/4 inch thick, 1 inch wide, and 3 inches long. The measurement from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other screw hole is 2 inches. The color is white.

B) 8 block and tackle balances for the same windows (36 x 37 single hung aluminum). The number on the balance is 180.

?c) ??1 block and tackle balance for a 36 x 49 3/4 inch single hung aluminum window. The number on the balance is 24D.

I'm afraid I couldn't find a tilt latch that matches your specifications exactly. Can you confirm the screw hole spacing? In terms of design, your latch is very similar to our 26-410, but this only has a hole spacing of 1-13/16" on installation hole centers.

I cannot tell what your balances are from your photos. I will need you to remove them from the window and then show me a clear picture of the shoe or clip at the bottom, the clip at the top, and the stamp printed on the channel itself.

The correct numbers for the block and tackler balances are 24C and 18C. The shoe is the same for both balances. See the photos of shoe; side, front, and back view.

Ah, I see. This is a unique type of balance that will have to be specially made. It's similar to our Series 795, but is super skinny. We can make it for you, but we need just a bit more information. Can you tell me how it attaches to the top? It should be either a hook or a screw-on tab at the end of the cord. Can you also tell me how many it need?
