Tilt Pivot Bar and Balance Shoes

Question

Hi! Today, I opened my windows to lubricate the balancers. I pulled them inward to find that the tilt pivot bars were so rusted that they actually broke. The tilt pivot bars snapped from the balance shoes. We were able to remove the rusted pivot bars. I'm not yet sure how to remove the balance shoes. At this point, I'm more concerned about ordering parts that will work for this window. I am also in need of tilt latches, several of them. I have a few parts in my cart, tilt latch 26-243 & 26-244 along with a few tilt bars 26-040. Please tell me which balance shoe I need to order to work with the tilt latch 26-040, unless this tilt latch isn't the right one. In that case, I would need to know which replacement tilt pivot bars and balance shoes will work for my windows. The window brand is Philips Series 810T Single Hung CCMC#12743-L. Thanks for writing in. It's difficult to say without knowing the exact dimensions of your pivot shoe, but check out our 15-134 to start. See if the width and thickness match what you have. If not, please remove the pivot shoe and tell us the exact width and thickness. Many thanks.
