Tilt sash window hardware

Question

Hi there,

Looking to identify the hardware for these double tilt sash windows on my second floor. The windows will not stay open so I believe a new balance & pivot lock is needed?

Thanks for posting! Your exact shoe is no longer made but our 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe will work well as a suitable replacement. I am confident this will work for you but be sure to remove the shoe and compare the dimensions.

This shoe is compatible with the Series 152 Coil Balance, secured to the shoe using the 33-072 screw. To determine the coil needed to complete the assembly, you'll need to remove the existing coils and look for any stamps/markings on the metal. If there aren't any, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash and divide it by the total number of coils in the window.

To replace the covers you'll need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Support Barrel.
