Tilt window balance help

I'm not sure if this photo will help. It is the label on the top of my window. The balance has 34B engraved on it. The balance looks to be fluted. What else do you need to know to identify what balances I need.

Thanks for posting! I am confident that we can provide you with a replacement balance, however, to be absolutely sure, I'll need to see a photo of an undamaged balance removed from the window.

I am specifically looking to see any attachments that could be connected to the balance or that may still be in the window channel, connected to the bottom of the sash.

Unfortunately, the stamp from the balance nor the sticker on the window help to identify the type of balance you need. The stamp from the balance only indicates the weight range your balances should be able to carry to support the sash however, we'll first need to determine the balance series you need.

Thanks for the photos. They do help to narrow down the replacement you'll however, the photos only give part of the information. There are many different shoes that are used with the Series 795 balance you have. There is a chance this could be a custom order balance. So, I'll need to see the parts removed, as requested, to identify the proper replacement.

For instructions on how to remove these balances from the window, take a look at the video below. We show how to remove and install them at the 3 minute and 13 second mark.

Hopefully these will help. I tried taking photos of all parts of it while I had it out. Let me know what other info you need. I am getting to be an expert in taking the windows out and putting them back in. We have a lot of windows and a good many of them have broken balances for some reason.

I know I need 2 per window but are they the same or is there a left and right version. They look identical but I want to make sure there isn't some slight difference that I am missing. Many of our windows have both balances that need to be replaced but several still have at least one balance that is still functioning.

Thanks for the photos. Your balances have the 15-230 T-Lock shoe, so this will need to be a custom order balance. I've sent over a link with a quote for (2) of these balances since there is an order minimum of (2) balances per custom balance. Is that one piece all I need? Do I just hook it to the existing metal piece in the window and try to stretch the spring?

I found the quote in a separate email. Will this require new pivot bars as well?

The entire balance is sold as a complete assembly. Your balances will be ready to install upon arrival.

There is a chance you'll need to replace the pivot bar, however, I cannot confirm that without seeing their condition. If you are unsure, I'll need to see a photo of them removed from the window.
