Tilt window balances

Question

I have a customer that has single sash tilt windows and needs several window balances replaced.  I'm familiar with channel balances,  but I have not encountered these types of balances (see attached photos).  If you can, please identify the balances and offer possible replacement parts if available.   These windows were built in 2013.  Thank you!

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We don't sell this specific pivot shoe but take a look at the 15-199. This is used with the 1/2" S160 and 3/8" S165 coil springs. I suspect your old spring band is 3/8" wide, but we recommend checking to be sure. The video below will go over how to pick the appropriate coil weights.
