If I use 30" Series 795 Channel Balance S795-30 option 3A

What is the correct Channel Balance for the top window?

I really can't say for sure. I assume you mean you're using an S795-30 with a stamp option of 30A for the lower sash. But upper sashes do not always have the same size or weight as the lower ones. Ultimately, it would be best to remove the existing balance to confirm exactly what you need.

Thank you you are correct the lower window uses 30" Series 795 Channel Balance Option 30A.

It looks like this is also going to be a Series 795, since these old crossbow balances have are outmoded and can be replaced by them. The video below goes into more detail for finding the exact right replacement.
