Hello! I think we can definitely help. You have a coil balance system, which means that you can replace just the broken parts and re-use the rest, if you so desire. Take a look at our 15-087 pivot shoe, 15-086 tandem housing, 16-024 mounting bracket, 33-072 screw, and last but not least, the Series 180 coil spring itself. You will need the stamp printed on your current springs to determine the best Series 180 option.

Thank you for your help with the window balance system. I took one of these out to try and find the stamp on the coil which says 7Y, so I'm assuming that were looking at 7lb coil. My issue is the removal of the tandem spring coil housing. There is no cut out on the window and its made of metal so I'm not sure if your spreader will work.Do you know how to properly remove the coil housing from the window sash?

If you have no existing cutout, you may need to make one. I recommend watching the video below to see how we do that.
