Traco Window balances

Sure, I'm positive we can get a good replacement for your coil balance. The problem is, according to our records, Traco has used a bunch of different kinds. In order to identify what you have, we'll need you to remove the sash from the window and show us a clear picture of the pivot shoe to which the springs attach. That will work as a "key" and allow us to determine the springs, covers, and a few other details to get everything squared away. Let me know!

Your shoe is a dead ringer for our 15-087, which doubles as a housing for the spring itself. This is compatible with our Series 180 coil, and it also uses the 15-086 tandem housing and 16-024 mounting bracket. Look these parts over and let me know if you agree.

You'll also see that you need the right option for the Series 180 spring. This can be determined by reading the stamp off your old spring. You'll ultimately have to take one out of the window to read it. Let me know if it's too faded to read, though. We can work it out if necessary.
