39-155 with a slightly longer short arm?

My truth operator 20755 looks just like your 39-155 but my short arm appears to be 1/16 of an inch longer than the 3 7/8". What will happen if I use your operator? Will the window fail to close?

I don't know of any operator that's like the 39-155, but with a 1/16" different in the link arm size. Could you recheck your measurements? If yours is a little longer, I can't say for sure what kind of impact it will have. 1/16" isn't that much, so you could be okay. In a worst case scenario, you could always adjust the bracket to which the link arm attaches to make up for the difference. This would require you to remount it on the sash.
