UPVC sash window coil balances

Question

Hi Swisco Expert!I need to replace a sash window coil balances pair. Please see attached photos, which include measurements. Additional info:- The shoe is stamped 550 Pat.#5,704,165- Coil springs are 1/2" wide. The lower coil is stamped with the number 8. The other two are stamped with the number 9 (or 6?)Can you please suggest replacement parts?Thank you in advance,

We do not have an exact match for the pivot shoe shown in your photos; however, there is a chance that our 17/32" thick 15-199 could work as a replacement for you. Compare the dimensions to your existing shoe to determine if this is the right fit.

This shoe is compatible with either the 1/2" thick S160 coil spring or the 3/8" thick S165 coil spring. To determine which series you need, you'll need to confirm the thickness of your coil spring. Since it's unlclear if the stamp reads 9 pr 6, I'd suggest weighing the window sash to ensure you purchase the correct strength options. Thanks for posting!
