Unknown Channel Balance

The channel balances say 31 5 EX CMC 4. There were no balance retainers in place so I'm not sure which one's I need. Thanks for the help.

Hello,
We're on the right track but we'll need to see both end attachments on your balance in order to recommend a replacement. I'm also not sure what you mean by balance retainers. If you could clarify, we'd be happy to help you identify your balance. Thank you!

By Balance retainers I mean the clips that actually go on the window frame that hold down the channel balance (pictured, those blank squares?)

Hello,
It looks like you have either our S390, left, or S351, right, channel balance. Take a look at the image below to determine which balance you'll need. You'll also need to know the length of your balance and the weight of your sash in order to choose the correct option.
Also take a look at our 16-002 take out clip for the replacement retainer you mentioned.
