Unsure of what series, and shoe dimension not listed on your site.

Home Owner from Winter Garden, FL
I have 3 different balances I need to order. Once I see these will fit correctly I will order for the rest of the home but these are broken so need them most. My issue is I do not know if they are S380, S385 or something else. Also the depth of the shoe is only 7/8" deep and your models appear to have a minimum depth of 1". The stamps on the balance is 3405 (4), 3435 (1), 3440 (1). Number in () is the how many of each I need now. The 3405 window sash weighs 33.2 lbs. I did not weigh the other two windows 3435 or 3440. Each is 35" long. I also have another window that I took apart and lubricated the wheels on the balance and operates but I would like to replace those two balances also. Stamp is 2950 (2) but I did not measure the length of the balance when apart. That window was hard to get out so I do not want to take it out again to measure length but I can tell it is not 35" like the others so maybe 29", I'm not sure.
Thanks for your help and let me know what else I can tell you to get these ordered.

The balance you're showing is either the Series 380 or Series 385 channel balance. If the depth of the shoe is 7/8", you can use the Series 380, since it's likely just a 1" shoe that wore down with age. You'd choose S380-35 for the balance shown. For each balance, you should weigh the window sash and compare to the options available on the balance product page. Your codes are strange and can't be relied on, so weighing is the only way to be certain. 3450 is the proper "option" for a 33 pound sash.

As for the shorter balance, there is no guarantee that it matches the longer balance. Verify that the attachments are the same if you want to use the same Series. You'd need to remove and measure the balance to choose which length you need, and then you would remove the window sash and weigh it to get an option, the same as you did with the longer balance.
