Upper sash pivot

The pivot bar you are showing was made for an early developed vinyl window. It has an additional fitting with wings that locks into the window track to keep the window track from bowing and to keep the sash tight against the track. The "U" shaped pivot bar we want you to consider is our 26-040. The wing piece isn't available which is ok because it's not necessary now since your windows have been in the house for sometime. So, there shouldn't be any setting. You can also take a closer look into is the new style pivot bar with wings, our 26-412. These are used for the upper sash.
