Handle Set for Security Door

Question

Ask the steel security doors have built in circular openings for the handle and bolt look. Would this set have a way of working with those two circular holes?

Thanks for posting. I see you're referring to the 82-081, in regards to your security door. I'm afraid I highly doubt this handle set could work at all with this door, since it doesn't really have the hole spacing for it; but it also really depends on what kind of internal mortise lock this door has, if any at all. The 82-081 only works with specific kinds of mortise locks. If your door has no mortise lock, you'd be better of seeing if you could adapt something like our 82-005 to the door. This is a surface mount handle set that has the lock built into it. You could then the 82-306 Outside Keyed Pull along with it. But you'd undoubtedly have to drill new holes to make this work, and even then I by no means can guarantee it, since all these parts were meant for sliding glass patio doors, rather than what you have.
