It looks to me like I need 26-148, but the little metal tail threw me.
What do you think?

Hello,
I think there's a good chance that your vent latch once had the same metal tailpiece that has since broken off. As long as your dimensions match the ones on our product page, I agree that the 26-148 looks like a promising replacement. Thanks for posting!
