Triple Coil Balance System ID

Question

I purchased a 1/2 coil triple support. While installing it, it cracked in multiple places. Is this due to the size being wrong or inadequate material the product was made from? The original piece I'm replacing is made out of much thicker/higher grade plastic.

Thanks for writing in. See our 15-111 Pivot Shoe. This shoe is compatible with either our Series 160 or Series 165 Coil Springs, depending on the thickness of your old coil tape. If you don't know what spring weights to select, give us the exact weight of your window sash and we'll work out what you need. For a new coil support, see our 15-205.
