Viking Window Channel Balances

Question

Hi. I'm trying to replace the channel balances in my old Viking Windows (original to my 1991 home). I'm starting with a bedroom window with a broken balance first, although if this works, I'll replace them all. The balance is stamped 2830 with side letters/numbers B81 (???) and VG. The balance is 29 inches long and 1/2 inch wide and comes from a non-tilt window. I have uploaded pictures and I hope this helps. I found a post on your website with the same balance, I believe, and you suggested S395-29. Also, would I need to replace the balance shoes and tops or do they just come pre-attached? We can replace this balance, though it will have to be specially made. The Series 395 will not replace yours.

I'll send you a special order link now for 2, which is our minimum. If you'd like to change the quantity, let me know here and I'd be happy to do so.
