Viking window channel balances

Mine are 1/2", 27" long, and look like your series 395. The stamp says 2690EFBSI35. Which weight range would that be?

Thanks.

You're right Jo, this looks like an S395-27. Your stamp option of 2690 is from an older rating system we no longer use. The last pair of numbers, 35, might indicate that your window sash weighs 35 lbs; in which case, you'd want to use our stamp option of 2665, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 33 through 36 lbs. But I can't entirely guarantee this; the safest thing to do would be to weigh your window sash, and see if that exact weight falls within the range mentioned above. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for getting back to us with that weight number. So, at this point, it's safe to say that you can go with the 2665 option which holds a sash weight of 33-36 pounds. I hope everything works out for you and let us know if you have any further questions.

Hey Bob. Thanks for the reply. I weighed the window sash the best I could and it seems to weigh 33 pounds. It would be great if these balances work. I have two windows like this that I can't open anymore because of broken balances. I'll give them a try.

Thank you!
