We purchased a house this spring with 17 year old Champion vinyl windows. As we are having them cleaned, we are finding several have broken pivot shoes and/or the pins that go inside them. I was able to get a label from one of the bottom windows that was readable (most had disintegrated).
How do I go about getting the parts? Or, what other information do I need to find?
I'm afraid that the label doesn't tell us anything about the hardware used on your window. We can still help, of course, but the best method of identification is via photos.
I can see your pivot bar clearly enough, so let's start with that. I think this looks like a good match for our 26-226. Just note that the most important dimension here to consider is the distance between the screw hole centers to the front tip. Overall length doesn't really matter, but hole positioning is vital.

As for the pivot shoe, yours is unfortunately too obscured for me to ID. In order to make a recommendation, I need to see it clearly out of the window track. At the very least, I need to see it with as little obstruction as you can manage. Figure that the more of it is hidden, the less likely it'll be that I can find a match.
Thank you! That's a huge help. We sell the individual components of this coil assembly separately: see our 15-177 shoe and Series 152 coil spring to start out. We aren't able to supply the spring cover, but you should be able to reuse the original as long as it's in good condition. Otherwise you can use our 15-143 bushing, 15-144 cap, and 15-145 barrel (sold separately). These all kind of sandwich together over an individual spring to keep it in place.
