Vinyl window balance single hung

This is an old crossbow style balance that unfortunately hasn't been made in a long time. The good news is that one of our modern balances can be used as a replacement.

To start, measure the diameter of the spring to confirm that it's 1/2". If it is then you can use our Series 795 to replace the entire setup. The only catch is that it's not a simple project, so it's going to take some handiwork. The video below will show you exactly how it can be done.

If the spring is smaller than 1/2", the Series 795 won't work. Let me know if that's the case and we can work from there.
