What is this piece called and can it be replaced? Windows are single hung.

This looks like a coil balance cover. We offer a wide variety and I'm certain we can get you something that matches. Can you just tell me the thickness of your springs? Can you also confirm how many springs are held under the cover? It looks like 3, but I'm not sure. If it is, and if your springs are 3/8" thick, then consider our 15-205 cover.
