I recently purchased some Face Mount Single Action Vent Locks, Part # 26-387. I have a problem to install these on my windows because there is a wooden frame around the windows that blocks access to the front face of the vinyl window frame on one side. What I would like to find is a similar part that mounts to the side of the wooden farm (90 degrees to the face). Can you suggest a way to do this, or must I hire a carpenter to modify the window frames?
