Hi, I am have a number of casement windows in my home that are not functioning correctly. Two windows (right side) do not open unless you manually push the window out about two inches and will not close unless you manually pull the window closed from about two inches away.Another two windows (left side) crank but do not engage the spindle so it just spins in circles. The house was built in 1999 so I imagine some of the replacement parts are no longer continued but am writing to ask what would be the appropriate fit with newer models.Thank you!

Okay, thanks again for waiting. I really appreciate it.

Your operator appears to be an older version of our 39-316. I feel confident that this part will work, but I am a bit concerns about the shape of the base. You have the old "squared" base that Truth used to use, which is an obsolete style. They've moved away from that some years ago into the more modern elliptical style.

That's typically not a problem; they're made to work in all the same applications. But your old operator is set unusually deep into the frame. I am concerned that the elliptical shape may leave a gap. That's not something you're really going to know until it's in place, though.

All the same, this is our best option and ignoring that one possibility I think it will work well.

This worked perfectly, thank you so much.  Just a little bit of wood filler around the edges but nothing major.
