Weight selection for balancer

Question

I am replacing the balancers of my 30 year old windows. According to the selection chart the balancer that fits my window is an S380, 35" tall. The balancer has no numeric indication so I weight the sash and it weights 29.2 #. Should I go with the 3440 23-30# or the 3450 30-34#. What would be the difference of one balancer to the other in my window operation. Thanks

A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 23 to 30 pounds which should be suitable for this window since the weight falls within this range.
