What balance to order?

The balance is missing on left side. See photos for identification. What parts do I need to order?

Greetings from SWISCO. Your balance resembles both our S380-18 and S385-18. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' measurement of the bottom balance shoe. The depth measurement of the bottom shoe for the Series 380 is 1" and for the Series 385 is 1-3/32". Measure your bottom balance shoe, the way it is shown in the diagram below, to determine which of the two balances is the better match. Whichever one chosen will use a 1750 option that supports a sash weight of 17-20 pounds.

Ah, I see. If your balances were a little difficult in opening and closing with the original ones, then you can switch to the 1740 option. If you didn't have any troubles, I don't see why you can't stick with the 1750. Your sash weight is basically at the cusp, so either one should work just fine.

We measured the shoe and it is 1-3/32" We also weighed the sash and it is 16.4 lbs so we actually need the 1740 and maybe the original balance was a little too strong
