What is the channel balance that I need.

A home owner from California says:
I have a broken channel balance. The length of balance metal part is 26 inch. The width of each shoe is ~1 inch. The writing on balance is "25 3 DX CMC 11". What balance do I need. My window is not tilt. Also if the balance is not correct what is your return policy?

Hello!

If your bottom shoe is 1", I recommend our S380-26 with the 2530 spring strength option. Look this part over and see what you think. You can also view our return policy here

A home owner from California says:
What is the difference between 2530 and 2540?

Emily from SWISCO responded:

The difference between these two strength options is the weight range they're calibrated to support. The 2530 stamp is for a sash weighing 15 to 19 pounds, and the 2540 stamp is for a sash that weighs 19 to 25 pounds. So with your 25 3 stamp, you would need the 2530 spring strength option.
