Which Mortise Lock is this?

It's a double hook mortise that goes to a reliabilt sliding glass door Model #719801243973.

I need a replacement mortise that matches the one in the photos above.

This mortise strongly resembles our 82-265. I think this may be just what you were looking for, but review our dimensions just to confirm they all line up.

I purchased the 82-265 mortise and it fit in the sliding glass door but it doesn't fit the door plate, which is attached to the door frame. Even with adjustments, the hooks do not grab and hold the plate. They probably get 1-2 mm of bite which allow the door to be easily pulled open while locked.

I just recently noticed it because we have a secondary lock the keeps the door secured.

So could you lead me in the direction of the appropriate door plate for this particular mortise please?

I believe the piece I need is called the keeper? I think the model I need is the 82-249? Could this be verified? Thanks in advance.

Hello! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. The plate in question is called a keeper, yes, though "striker" is another common term in the industry.

I'm surprised to hear that the 82-265 didn't work even after adjusting the hooks. It is fully compatible with the 82-249 and that should fix the matter for you, but before you buy anything you may want to try shimming the old keeper forward a little with washers.

This is assuming that the issue is just that the hooks simply aren't reaching; if it's a matter of the hooks not properly interfacing with the keeper itself then using the 82-249 would be the best course of action.

The hooks aren't properly interfacing. So I purchased the 82-249. I will assume that should correct the issue of properly interfacing.

Yes, I agree. The 82-265 mortise and 82-249 keeper are specifically designed to work together.
