Which model to order?

Hi there, I?d like to confirm before I order. Please see the following pictures. They measure 27? metal to metal. Also is there any recommended pre-conditioning steps to prolong the life of the balances before the installation? They seem to wear out fast. Thank you for your time. John

Based on your photos, you have either our S380-27 or S385-27. The only difference between them is the size of the bottom fitting, which is indicated on their respective store pages. You'll need to measure your bottom fitting to confirm which one is best.
As for prolonging the life of the balance, you could try lubricating the track with a silicone spray. There's not much to it, though. These should be lasting 10-15 years, depending on how often the window is used.

I see what you mean. The bottom nylon fitting on yours lacks wings. I apologize for not catching that in your first post.
With that understanding, then I do think that our Series 395 is our best option.
