Which type of steel?

Several of the SWISCO screen clips are made from stainless steel, and specifically say so in the listing. This item, 70-005, does not indicate which steel alloy is used in it. Can you clarify the point? We've got coastside corrosion conditions here and are really hoping for stainless: the old tension springs have rusted away to pretty much nothing!

Many thanks for your correspondence. The 70-005 Wire Tension Spring is made of steel, but it is not stainless. Let me know if you have further inquiries.
