Screen frame wire tension spring. Fits into a lanced slot on screen frame edge; normally screen pulls are applied to opposite rail; spring pushes in for loading into position and self adjust for a snug hold.

Which type of steel?
Several of the SWISCO screen clips are made from stainless steel, and specifically say so in the listing. This item, 70-005, does not indicate which steel alloy is used in it. Screen Frame Wire Tension Springs
I need only 4 of the tension springs for two very old window screens that need to be rebuilt. Can I buy just four of these springs??? Also, do you have any instructions/tips for installing them in terms of how to cut the hole and how big the hole should be? Thank you!

replacement part for casement screen
Hi, we have a customer with lip bar casement screens and the method of holding the screens in is a little metal tension spring (but NOT a leaf spring), and I'm not finding a source for it. Sue Beauvais
