Hi Swisco team,

I need to get new window balance for my window. The old one I have now has "27 4 DX CMC 11" on it. Could you let me know which one I should order from your webpage?

Hey Felix. I'm sure we can help, but that stamp is actually not an identifier. It just tells us the strength of the channel balance. If you can remove your balance from the window and send us clear pictures of the nylon attachments on the top and bottom of the metal channel, we should be able to narrow down what you need.

The metal part length of my balance: 28 inch.
The depth: 5/8 inch.
The width: 1/2 inch.

Thanks! Based on what I see here, you have either our S380-28 or S385-28, depending on the depth of the bottom shoe. That's the only difference between them. I recommend measuring your shoe and referring to our dimensions to confirm the best match.

Sure, your old stamp of "27 4" usually corresponds to our 2740 stamp option. If you wanted to confirm, you can always weigh your sash on a scale and refer to the weight chart we show on that balance's store page.
