Window Balance Part

Question

I need to replace window balances on my 80's aluminum, single hung windows. I pulled the broken one out, which is also missing the shoes, and measured it. The metal is 27" long and it's 1/2" wide. It has 26 c engraved on it. Any help figuring out which balance and shoes I need would be very helpful. Thank you!

Thanks for your post! Your window balances appear to have wingless top and bottom attaches, like either the S351-27 or S390-27. To determine which of these is the correct series, you'll need to confirm the depth measurement of the bottom shoe. See the diagram below for reference.

Our 2630 stamp can likely be used to replace your 26C stamp but it you may want to double check that you sash weight falls between 13 to 19lbs.
