Window Balance Part Identification
I have a few vinyl replacement windows in my apartment that seem to have a broken piece preventing me from being able to open them. The piece in question, that I was able to get a picture of is the piece with a blue circle on it. Research tells me this might be a window balancer, though I am unfamiliar with window parts. I'm also including a few pictures of the stickers inside the window if that helps to identify the model appropriate to this particular piece.
Any help here is much appreciated!

Hi Dan, thank you for posting,
What you are showing here is the window balance that keeps the sash up when opened. Your pivot shoe resembles the 15-087 that is compatible with the Series 180 coil springs. It appears that the housing is marked with the number #8. Review the S180-8 coil spring that goes into the 15-087 pivot shoe. Review all dimensions to confirm a good fit and let me know if you have any additional questions!
We also carry the 16-024 mounting bracket, if the original is damaged.
These dimensions are just a hair smaller than my current coil housing, but I think this should work - I just ordered two of them along with the mounting brackets as well. I was able to salvage the current coil springs which it seems should be reusable.
Best,
Dan
No problem! Please let us know how you make out with your repair!
The parts arrived a few days ago and I was able to make the repair successfully! Thanks again for the help here - the entire process was relatively straightforward once I figured out the appropriate order of operations :)
