Window Balance shoe 6.679.000
Hello. Unfortunately, none of our replacement t-lock balance shoes will work on your existing balance. You will need to replace the entire balance. Could we have you send some photos of the entire balance for us to review? We also need for you to provide the stamped number that may appear on your balance.

Thank you for your response. It appears you can go with our Series 795 channel balance as a replacement. Look it over and see what you think.
I see your response is from 2019. Is this still the case? I'm hoping that maybe you now have replacement balance shoes for the 6.679.000.

As it turns out, the story has changed since then, yes! We now sell the 15-236, which has the same deep "groove" in the stem that the original had. Look it over and see what you think!
Ah, I'm sorry for not noticing that detail. That may indeed effect how the shoe interacts with the pivot bar, yes. It may also be okay, but you may not want to take that chance.
If that isn't something you want to risk, you would need an all new balance, as we do not currently sell an open cam version of the 15-236. I apologize for the inconvenience.
