Window Balancers

Looking for the correct replacement balancers for that window and another. Tracks have been removed and the stamp on the back says 24 3. They have a metal track with a string in the middle attached to the spring then connect ones to the window gram at the very top with a loop on the string and a screw.

Thanks for your post! I believe you may have a Series 795 Channel Balance based on the shoe I see on the window sill. May I see a clearer photo of the shoe?

Please also confirm the length of the metal channel.

Metal channel is 25" long

Thanks for confirming. You'll need the S795-25 to replace your balances. I believe you'll need the 25C stamp option, but it may be a good idea to double check that your sash weight falls between 17 to 22lbs.

The shoe has an open cam, so you'll also need to purchase the 15-195B 1-1/4" T-Lock Balance Shoe. These are fairly easy to swap out with the shoe that comes installed on the balance.
