Window Balancers part identification

Question

I want to replace all of the window balancers for my vertical opening windows. The balancers appear to be the same manufacturer. Windows were installed in 2005.

The balancers have markings on them. Marking and length of balancer are

Marking Length of metal part

2930 BSI PN 29 7/8"

1730 BSI PN 17 3/4"

1720 BSI PL 17 7/8"

1430 BSI PV 14 3/4"

1420 BSI PL 14 7/8"

Several windows have the same balancer

I included photos of the ends and clips for the 1730 balancer All the clips and end fittings are the same for all the balancers

In addition, one of the balancer window channel retaining clips is missing.

I would appreciate determining what the replacement parts are

Hello there!

Thank you for reaching out to us. We can help supply this type of balance but it will have to be a custom order due to its configuration. The pulley wheel is built into the bottom fitting itself and this balance features an extended cord travel as well as a metal channel length ending in 7/8" which is what makes it custom. For example, the 1730 and 1430 stamped balances should measure 17-7/8" and 14-7/8" long. We won't be able to help if the lengths differ. Custom orders are nonrefundable so you may want to double-check to be safe.

I'll just need to know the exact quantity for each balance you're looking to replace so I can get this moving for you. As for the take-out clip, I recommend the 16-002.
