Hello. We have Harvey windows (24 of them in total) in our condominium. We are looking for replacement brackets, of which each window screen takes two (about in the middle of the screen). Harvey does not make these anymore, and our local hardware store pointed us in your direction.
The length of the bracket is 2 millimeter by 1 millimeter, almost shaped like a letter "L". There is also a prong that sticks out from the bottom of the "L" (where the two sides meet), and extends for about 3/4 of a millimeter. It's purpose is to extend into the hole in the screen frame, which appears to be about 3/8 of a millimeter in diameter.
We moved in here two years ago (the condominium is 15 years old), and over time some of these brackets have likely fallen out, gotten buried in the ground, discarded, broken, etc. We would like to get some so that our screens do not rattle around in wind, or get damaged.
If you have something available, others within our condominium complex (31 units) may be interested.
Thank you,
Dan
