I agree the S770-34 does look promising. Note that this balance typically screws to the top of the window jamb; let us knows if yours attaches differently. Also let us know if the bottom attachment appears different than the one this balance has by default (the 15-043). To confirm the right pivot shoe, it would be best to remove it and show a picture, as well as to measure the width and thickness.
