Window Crank Parts

Quick Learner from USA
Hello, I have a client, who I believe has a Swisco window. The crank is gone but the shaft remains. The internal extender is also gone. I will attach photos to see if this may be something your company can help with. Thank you!

Hello, thank you for posting,

Unfortunately with the original arms missing, we cannot confirm the exact style that was used. That being said, we do believe you have an older style Andersen window. Take a look at the three awning window operators listed. The 39-389 operator for a wide window and the 39-390 for a narrower window. Not sure which would fit your window. These operators use a rod which the arms ride on to operate the window. Also take a look at the 39-206 which attaches to the window sash with use of a bracket. Take a look at all the listed operators along with the related videos on the website.

Let us know what you think!

So I went back and climbed over ledge to have a closer look et voila! I saw the arms. I took a wrench and cranked them out. I also I identified where they were once attached!! Now, I think I can go back and weld those connections bsck in place and it will work. I just need the hand crank. What do you think?

Hello,

It looks like you have the 39-206 operator. If you feel that the operator you now have is working correctly, maybe give it a shot of spray lubricant, then you might just need to use the 39-286 handle. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks..yea, the arm is working just fine. I need the crank...herein lies the problem. To what do I hook the arm to? Looks like there were some soldering points that detached the arm from the crank arm. Any suggestions? I can get creative and just attach something, but I wanted to see if there is anything you all have that I can just clip on to attach the arms appropriately.

Thanks

Hello,

We currently do not sell these brackets separately from the 39-206 operator, but we are researching to see if we can bring them in for you. I will be in contact as soon as more information is available. Thank you for your patience!
