Window Operator Handle

Quick Learner from Wisconsin
This handle appears to be stripped, and no longer engaging with the gears

This is NORCO and TRUTH parts.

I would like to be able to replace this on my own without hiring window specialist.

I don't see any additional info or model #s

Hoping to simply replace the handle and connector and not have to remove/replace the gears

Thank you

Hello, thanks for writing in. Unfortunately when this occurs it means the gears themselves are stripped and replacing the handle alone will not be effective. I'd be happy to assist you in identifying a substitute for your operator, but I would need to see the whole assembly, including the arms and attachments/wheels at the ends of the arms.

Ok, thank you... here are the additional photos. Is this repair something I can do myself or should I plan to hire a specialist?

Thanks for these follow up pictures. This looks to be either our 39-031/39-032 or 39-155/39-156. The difference is in the length of the link arm. You will need to review the dimensions and compare them to your own to identify the correct replacement part. We do have a video detailing the replacement process, which I will include below. This will give you some familiarity with the process and help you determine if it's something you would feel comfortable doing.
