Window Part

A contractor from Queens says:
Hi,
I'm trying to identify this part for my window. That metal tab broke off on the right side of window sash.
Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see an undamaged pivot bar removed from the sash, along with dimensions, to compare to our inventory. Thank you!

A landlord from Queens says:
Here's pictures of the pivot bar.
Thank you for your help.

I'd recommend starting by comparing our 3" long 26-089 pivot bar to yours. Review the dimensions and hole placement to confirm if this could work for you. Thank you!

A landlord from Queens says:
The dimensions looks like they measure up pretty much the same as the 26-089 , except the whole in the center looks like its 2 inches or 2 1/16.It's very close though.

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Just to confirm, are you measuring from the center of the installation hole to the end of the pivot bar? If you can confirm that exact measurement, we'd be happy to check if there is a closer replacement option. Thank you!

A landlord from Queens says:
Yes, from the center of the installation hole is 2 1/6

Casey from SWISCO responded:

In that case, take a look at our 26-083 that has the installation hole offset you're looking for. This pivot bar is shorter than yours but that shouldn't matter as long as the installation hole lines up properly.

A landlord from Queens says:
Great. Ill order it now. Thanks for your help.
