Window Pivot Bar

This window pivot bar (I think this is the correct name for this part) is broken on most of my windows. There is a 'hook' part that connects my springs in each side of the window. The 'hook' part has broken off the plastic pivot bar. I would like to find a replacement (preferably metal) so my windows stay open.

This looks like a type of friction shoe. We don't have an exact match but our 15-104 is similar. Look this part over and let me know if you think it would be a suitable replacement.
