Window Spring

Question

I'm trying to figure out which springsto order. There's one on each side of the window. These have no model numbers on the spring. The springs I see look nothing like these. All the videos that I've watch don't show this style.

Thanks for your patience during this busy season. This is an old rod-type balance. They don't make this anymore, unfortunately, nor did they ever make anything to replace it. The good news is that we've found our unrelated Series 795 balance works well, as long as you don't mind making some alterations. The video below will go into more detail.

Just note that this solution is only viable if your spring is 1/2" in diameter. If it's any other size, let me know.
