The spring or channel on this window broke. Is there a way to replace?

Hey there!

Yes, these channel balances can be replaced. It looks like you have our Series 795 channel balance but I can't be sure of what type of T-lock shoe you need. The S795 comes with the 15-195 closed cam T-lock shoe so you'll have to remove yours from the window to confirm if you have this or not. If you don't or if you're unsure, show us a picture of the T-lock shoe removed from the window and we can work from there.

When determining length, only measure the metal channel and do not include the end fittings in your measurement. There should also be a stamp on your metal channel which indicates what option you'll need to select.

One important detail to note is that the Series 795 attaches to the top of the track using a screw, not a hook. If yours needs a hook then let me know; we can still help but your balance will have to be custom made.
