Window Springs
Plastic piece 3 inches, screws 1 1/2 inches apart
springs 1/2 inch

windows double pane 31" wide and 32" height
windows approx 22 pounds .
Thanks for posting. The pivot shoe looks like our 15-111, which works with either 1/2" thick Series 160 springs, or 3/8" thick Series 165 springs. If your springs are in fact 1/2" thick, go with the Series 160. In this case, the spring stamped '5' would be the S160-5 5.5 spring. If the window weighs exactly 22 pounds, you could use two of these on each side of the sash. This would give us 11 pounds of support on either side, for a total of 22 exactly. However, if that weight is off beyond + or - 1 pound, this will not work, so please be sure to actually weigh the sash to get as accurate a measurement as possible. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
I'm not sure that I understand your first question. The 15-150D is the cover, itself. Can you clarify exactly what it is you're looking for?
As for your longer spring, you are correct in your analysis, yes. You will need to stretch out the top S160-5 spring out so that it goes past its bottom partner.
