Window balance

Hi I don't know too much about this but I would like to know the name of these parts and also if they still sell them if not what else can I use for my tilt windows.

This is an old rod-type balance. These haven't been made in a long time, but the good news is that you can use one of our more modern balance assemblies as an alternative.

Before we go any further, I just need a bit more information. First, can you confirm the diameter of the spring? It should be either 1/2" or 3/8". can you also show me a picture of the shoe at the bottom end of the balance?

Thanks for getting back to us. You have a crossbow balance like the one shown in our video below. As long as yours has a 1/2" diameter spring, you can follow the conversion process shown below to use the S795 channel balances in your window.
