Sent a picture of my balance and yours.
You will see the difference at the top of the balance.

Can you make a balance with is connector on top?

I'm not sure what to recommend. Could you show us a few more pictures? I'd like to see the front, rear, and a clearer picture of the top where the screw clip is. Thank you!

front, back clip views. pic's

On your S 795 -24 option 24B: why can't the string block be flip over. this would make the clip flush the back side

Your S 795-24 specs.

Block size with string is 7 15/16"
spring size is 15"

My balance is:
Block with string is 9 1/4"
spring sizes is 13 1/2"

Thank you! I'm actually not sure why the Series 795 won't work. We've used it to replace balances like yours many times in the past with no problem. What exactly is the problem you're running into?

The pulley block is riveted in place, and if it were to be drilled out or removed, it could irreversibly affect the tension of the balance system in a negative way.
