Thanks for writing in. It looks to me like the nylon shoe on this balance is damaged. I recommend you compare an undamaged version if available to either our S380-21 or S385-21. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, so compare both with your old hardware to see if one of these is what you require. You will need a stamp option of 2040.
